How did you get into photography?
My father has always brought his camera with him, and since I was born I have watched him photographying every moment of our family trips. So thats why, when I was 15, I asked for my first camera. I began imitating him, taking my camera with me everyday. It was a game which end up being a way of life.
What are your „favorite subjects“
I love almost everything, I think that’s one of the things that caracterizes me. I love travelling to amazing places, and take pictures surrounded by mother nature. But I also love conceptual self portraits. What I like the most is showing in my pictures images that are far from reality, with a pinch of magic.
How do you edit your pictures?
I edit them with photoshop, it’s my working tool.
What equipment do you use?
I have a Nikon D300s with two lenses. A Tamron 17-50 2.8 and a Nikkor 50mm 1.4 This last one is my most precious one. I love the bokeh that it provides.
Why is Photography important to you?
Photography makes me feel alive, concentrated, connected with my deepest inside.
Do you have a favorite photograph?
I do have hundreds of favourite photographs!
Do you have some tips for beginners?
Yes, I think the most important part of photography is going out there and shoot. Don’t stay at home reading the manuals of the camera. And above all, you have to enjoy what you are photographying.
